Oster's tiered food steamer is equipped with instant steam so you can start cooking immediately. It has a combined, 6-qt. capacity (3.8-qt. and 2.3-qt. bowls) and comes with fully collapsible steaming trays for easy cleaning. The large bowl includes eight egg holders for making soft or hard cooked eggs. It also has an external water fill system with a see-through reservoir: monitor the water level and you'll never run out of steam. The LCD display has a 95-minute timer. This is a very attractive item to sit out on the counter, etc. It cooks quickly. I like the outside water indicator, however, it is a little hard to see being clear water and a clear over over the indicator.

Great, easy to use product. It is nice you can cook either frozen or thawed food in about the same time. Meals take under 30 minutes to make and come out tasty and healthy. If only it would clean itself...but the dishwasher safe plastics make most of the cleanup a snap.

I really like this steamer. It produces abundant steam and cooks very fast (must watch not to overcook foods.) I must say though it's very important to drain and rinse the cooker out soon after use. I was lazy and waited til morning to clean it and by then it was a smelly mess. I put some baking soda in it and turned it on for awhile. I then drained it well and left it out to dry.
I like this steamer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone needing a steamer.
